CPD Units: 1
The world is now experiencing an unstoppable growth in technology and we are increasingly connected on a global scale. At the same time, cyber threats are increasing in volume and sophistication, introducing and enabling more cyber criminals with better capabilities. With this growth it has become vitally important that organisations pay more attention to cyber security and address how to curb cyber threats and crime.
Cyber security has become more than a security issue; it is also a strategic issue for most businesses. It is not just the IT department’s challenge – BOARDROOM MEMBERS or SENIOR PRACTICE PARTNERS MUST BE ENGAGED before an organisation can become more secure. It also needs to adopt a proactive rather than reactive approach in order to reduce the risks related to cyber security.
During the webinar David Reynolds and Dennis Scott will talk about the cyber security landscape, including some of the emerging cyber threats, trends and vulnerabilities. They will provide insight into how to take traditional reactive approaches and turn them in to proactive engagements. This is a discussion that is taking place all over the world and businesses can no longer afford to be complacent about the issue.
