The Association of International Accountants (AIA), the global body for professional accountants is proud to provide its support as an enterprise advisor for New Bridge Academy, Hylton Castle, Sunderland.

AIA’s Head of Development, Sharon Gorman will be undertaking the role of enterprise advisor; representing the AIA and working with North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) in supporting New Bridge Academy to help bring the link between the school and employers closer and to ensure that the young people, at the school, are given every opportunity to learn about the type of careers that are available to them.

Amyas Morse, the Comptroller and Auditor General, head of the National Audit Office, has issued a report on the 2013-14 accounts of HM Revenue & Customs. The report describes how HMRC deploys its compliance resources and measures and reports the impact of its compliance work. It also covers HMRC’s progress in operating the PAYE service and its implementation of its new Real Time Information service and its performance in tax collection and in reducing error and fraud in personal tax credits.
